Fiber Mice in progress

Working on another repetitive process piece for my Fiber Studio. This one's titled Baited, and discusses topics of individualism vs conformity, societal structures, observing the trap, etc....

started by cutting out basic body form, using a template to trace on the fabric to ensure each mouse would be the same size.

sewed the body together and stuffed with stuffing i pulled from my deteriorating couch. sewed on individual legs and tail.

coated plaster heads with a layer of black spray paint and followed with a high gloss clear coat.

final display arrangement, check this piece out in the "Loose Threads" show in the 840 Gallery.
