Not happy with it AT ALL.... having issues with registration, and my black layer masked my bright colors, making the candles and fire basically invisible.
....will be reworking....

Artist Statement (full)
"We grew up tough, we grew up quick. We thought we knew the
ones we grew up with. Not all is to be trusted, no one acts how they feel. I
remember a time when everything was as it seemed. Amongst foul mouths and
hungry stomachs new ideas were planted. Through a strange mixture of compassion
and disgust these ideas were nurtured. They fed off of negative energy,
misfortune, and scornful behavior. Eventually these ideas became much too
powerful to contain. As they spill, I catch them with my canvas."

Finished my first color Woodcut Print, pretty pleased with how it turned out.

Working on a new Woodcut, introducing some color for the first time.... this will be a night scene of a figure pulling the city over his back like a blanket.
